I ordered the fish tacos with fries. This is the worst fish tacos I've eaten & the fries were terrible. We were the only two people there for dinner. I should have asked to see the manager. I left without eating instead.

Very poor Gyro. I never have had one with overlooked dried out pieces of beef/lamb. Some of the meat was cooked as normal but instead of trimming off the dried out meat they included them in the gyro. One of the worst ones I have ever had. The gal that was seating guests - when we requested to sit with the other customers - literally turned and went into the kitchen. We almost followed her there but stopped short at the kitchen doors. We figured out that we were supposed to go outside to go up the stairs. Our server upstairs was very nice they need him at the door. We will never repeat our dismal experience.

We have always enjoyed coming to Dimitris when in Daytona. However today we were very disappointed in the meal. We ordered the Greek salad and it was missing the lettuce! There might have been 1or 2 leaves chopped in it. There was a lot of cucumber but we both hate cucumber. View is always nice though. I'm so bummed. I've been waiting till I was back in the area to eat here.

We really enjoyed the food and had to go back a second time this trip! The feta fries are a must! Seriously, they're so good. The waiter assured me that the fries are made in a separate fryer, so they're gluten-free. I ate them twice with no problems. They make a great sangria, too. I liked the shrimp and scallop skewers and I hear the fish tacos and gyros are good, too!

Got Greek? Here it is. This place makes a great variety of gyros. Their salads are freshly prepared. I've never had a bad bite here. Food prepared quite fast. The portions are sometimes enough for two. Great upper deck looking 360 degree into the Daytona sky. A must do if you haven't already!

Amazing gyros, you will be tasting the garlic a day later! This is a great Greek restaurant with very good service and a beautiful deck overlooking A1A. The French fries are best ordered with Greek sauce & feta, they are delicious!

This place was great, me and my boyfriend both got gyros and were not disappointed. The side Greek salad was huge & the hot pita bread was great. I would recommend to everybody.

We used to love everything about this place (see prior review). But my husband orders the fish & chips, which they used to make with frozen fish, and it was delicious. I always steal a little of his, so I had eaten it before (and loved it). The last couple of visits, however, they used a new type of fresh fish that tastes terrible. I always try a bite and I can confirm. Neither my husband or I like the new fish they are using for their fish and chips at all. Terrible. Absolutely the worst, do not waste your money. Sorry but we loved the fried fish and chips prepared with the frozen fish. The fresh fish tastes mealy and disgusting honestly. The veggie gyro is still delicious and the deck is great. But I would avoid the fish & chips or caution the owner to return to the food that people like to eat, even if it costs a little more to purchase. Ironic but the fresh fish (in their fish and chips) is *NOT GOOD AT ALL*. Very bad fish they are using now. Make sure you ask if they are using fresh or frozen. Frozen is better (delicious actually). You can see we wrote a 5 star review before, but you have to keep up the good food to keep getting good reviews. Very disappointed in this meal, which we had on two different occasions. We will gladly delete this review if you confirm that you are switching back to fish that is worth buying and eating.

    This place was okay! Overpriced!

Great atmosphere but food was seriously lacking. We shared an appetizer of clams. Notice I didn't say Fresh Clams as the menu suggests. We both agreed they were not fresh, but they did the job. Fries tasted old. I couldn't tell if it was the fries themselves or the oil. Whatever it was, it lacked. We would return to drink, but won't be eating. The food isn't to par with the area. With that being said, it's a great deck for entertaining and drinking with friends. I wish them the best and hope they secure more business.

Terrible service and food. This place has really gone down hill. Food took 45 mins to come out and was not fresh at all. Will not go back. If it weren't for the view from the roof this place would not be in business. It's a shame when a restaurant has no passion for good food quality and obviously the staff lacks motivation for customer service.

Family of 14 for dinner... Including 3 kids. Food was good ! Including spinach pie and Greek salad! Our waitress was Amber and she was awesome! We come to Daytona as a family ever year and will be sure to return to Dimitri's!

Oh my goodness!! We had planned On going elsewhere but couldn't find parking and had passed this place so we went back to it. Great luck!!! The hot wings were amazing. The California chicken was fantastic. The service was friendly and attentive, but just when needed. Perfection!

Ryan the server was great. We ordered food at 6:30 and were served at 8:15. We refused the food because it was cold, visibly had been sitting and who serves salad with diner after an hour and 1/2. Dimitri the owner refused to take food off bill, threatened to call the cops and then accused me of not being able to afford it. I said let's start over.... Do u think waiting 1-1/2 hours is acceptable, he stopped went to the POS and came back and said ok I will comp your food. The server was upset because she was going to have to pay for the food... I asked Dimitri if Ryan the server would have to pay and he smiled and said it was none of my business. SUPER Uncool I know this may be a one off but what a bummer of an experience.

This was my first time here and I am here for vacation from California. I must say, this was the most beautiful view and very interesting scenery. Towards the end there was this sever, that brought us our bill and boxes for our food and I can honestly say, I wish she was our server in the beginning of this experience. Jessie was the best sever w/ the best attitude, I love people that are like that, great attitude even if it was for 5mins she was the best!! I hope I got her name right but all I know is she had a tattoo on her side arm and she put her sunglasses on, that's the best description of her

Last meal I'll let them ruin, no more chances for this place. Burnt gyro that was so over seasoned and salty I wouldn't feed it to my dog. No attempt by waitress to get manager after I sent it back and second one was just as bad. Mac and cheese had foul taste like it was old and very mushy noodles I literally spit it out! My brother and boyfriend hated theirs as well. Lost 3 locals today guys!

Good food, and a nice deck. Unique dining experience, friendly staff. Reasonable prices and regular specials. Go once and you'll go back again and again.

I've only been here for lunch. My father in law was in town and want to take us to lunch and asked me to pick. I didn't want to break the bank since I knew he was picking up the tab, so I chose Dimitri's. I had a hankering for a good Gyro and what better place to go... We didn't have cocktails or appetizers. I just ordered a sweet tea and the Gyro with fries and it was darn good. I think we all ordered Gyro's except for my daughter who ordered a burger and we weren't disappointed. Service was good but it took a very long time to receive our meals. At dinner it would have been acceptable but for lunch and for ordering sandwiches, it took too long. I may go back and try other items. My wife is part Spartan so I'm obliged to go back for the Greek cuisine..

  • Cindy T.

Love this place! Had the Gyro sandwich and feta fries. , the BEST I've ever eaten! Their Humus and Pita appetizer was soo fresh and delish!! We sat on the upper deck and the sea breeze was strong and cool in the shade. Loved the ocean view! Will continue to visit and bring friends.

This was my first time here, menu primarily focused on Greek style food. I opted for the "South of the Border Chicken Sandwich" served with fries. The sandwich was garnished with grated Swiss cheese, avocados, tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño served on a focaccia roll. The sandwich was blan to say the least, the "seasoned" chicken barely had a taste to it. The best part of the sandwich were the jalapeños that gave it some spice to mask its lack of taste. The service, to say the least, wasn't that much better. The bartender/waitress was not very welcoming, lacked any sort of personality... now she may have been having a bad day, but there wasn't even a fake smile. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is the view. The vast view of the ocean is incredible, for the most part unobstructed. I would come back simply to experience the evening crowd, otherwise I'll be choosing another establishment.

Food is good owner is atrocious he wanders around calling his employees lazy pieces of - - - -. Several vendors won't deliver to him due to how he speaks to them. I witnessed him telling an employee he was going to throw her off the balcony. Great guy. Don't recommend giving him your hard earned money there's too many good people out there.

went to dinner with friends specifically to try the lionfish ( an invasive species ) the upper deck was nice with a good view of the ocean.however the waitress was surly and un cooperative . i asked if i could get the lionfish prepared as fish tacos(fish tacos are on the menu) she said i can have the small or large. Can i have some tortillas on the side? NO How is the fish prepared? grilled ( it came deep fried) all that said the lionfish was okay ,the service was horrible .no one from our party of twelve will eat there again

  • Kim H.

Meh. The view was nice. The food not so much. My gyro was greasy and flavorless as a restaurant, 2 stars. If I were going for drinks, the outside deck and maybe some greasy bar food, I would be happier.

Ordered a simple Pineapple Malibu on the rocks and got charged extra for the "rocks". Definitely will not be returning.

Went there for dinner with my SO when we were on vacation. The good: - Easily accessible with lots of parking space. - Great rooftop deck with bar and great view. - Affordable cocktails (5-8$) with high alcohol content. - Friendly service staff. - Affordable oysters at market price; fresh and chunky. The not-so-good: - Food was slow to come. - Food was generally a tad too salty. - Captain's platter (assorted deep fried seafood) and mussels were nothing special. Bottom line: Great place for a drink and to relax with a view, fresh oysters at reasonable prices, otherwise lackluster selection of seafood.

  • Scott N.

The waitress/bartender was very personable (not overly), helped us choose items for which Dimitri's is famous (Gyro and Mac 'n' Cheese) all while taking care of all the patrons on the deck. The view was nice. Always nice to watch the ocean during a meal. Great breezes didn't hurt. I ordered the gyro Platter, served with Sauteed vegetables, Avgolemono Soup and Mac & Cheese. The soup, a mixture of rice, lemon and a smattering of chicken, was very tasty. Very lemony, not salty. Quite tasty indeed. The veggies were good. They had just the slightest kick to them. I at them first because I figured they'd get cold otherwise. The Mac 'n' Cheese was surprising. It's homemade and had a Very strong garlic flavor. I like garlic and did not find it off putting at all. I found it to be an interesting and delightful twist on an often bland side dish" The gyro was fantastic and a TON of food. The lamb and beef gyro meat was tender, tasty and topped and interlaced with homemade tzatziki sauce, chopped lettuce and tomatoes. I kept thinking id take at least half of it home, but managed to finish it all. We'd go again and highly recommend it!

  • Jim M.

I'm a local, been here too many times based on the view and the breeze. However, beer is never cold, food takes way too long to arrive ( doesn't matter what you order or how busy they are) bartender is inattentive and don't even consider using the filthy bathrooms. Because of the location, it has so much potential. Will keep hoping for better.

    (1)
  • Alice Z.

We went on vacation here and had a great view of a sunset on the top deck. Overall, the food was a little bit overly salted and the service a bit slow. Friendly waitress. Drinks were reasonably priced (5-8$ for a cocktail) and were pretty strong in alcohol content (thumbs up!). Clam chowder soup was alright, a bit too salty. The fresh oysters (6 for 7$) were pretty good. Captain's variety of batter, other than being deep fried, was tasty with their cocktail and tartar sauce. Mussels were pretty delicious although portion too small for the price.

  • Glenn R.

Awful Service, food is ok. The staff has got to be the worst of any restaurant anywhere. This is not an exaggeration. Waste of a great ocean view. Spend your money somewhere else.

If there was a way to give 0 stars, I would have done so. I waited over 1 hour and 45 minutes and I never was served. To other people walked away without eating as well. The only thing I did get with an enormous time frame was some very burnt and dried calamari that was nearly all coating. I don't even think there was any calamari inside it!! So basically I walked up three flights of stairs to sit on a deck that seemed to rock in the breeze only to be served two iced tea, crappy calamari, and really nothing else other than a lot of time lost. I read some of the reviews that said the wait was long but I didn't mind that because I was not in a hurry but 1 hour and 45 minutes and still nothing? That's unnecessary. Pass this place by.

    (1)
  • Catherine N.

Gyro was ok. If you are looking for a bar with ok good. This is the place. If you are looking for a good Greek meal and oh by the way they is a bar. Then pass. Salad had no seasoning and gyro was salty.

Awesome food, bad service. Got our soups in less than 5 minutes, got our appetizer within 5 more minutes, then sat for 30 minutes waiting on entrees. Told waitress (Kaitlyn) we had somewhere to be and for an ETA on our food, and she immediately told us that the lion fish I had ordered was dropped on the ground and they made me a new one, and it was coming up the stairs right then. We ran into a friend who sat with us and decided to buy us a round of beers because it was my birthday. 10 more minutes went by, no entrees, and we decided to cancel the order and get our bill. Our friend told Kaitlyn to put the two beers he ordered us on his tab, but she ended up putting it on ours. We just paid it and rushed out. What I don't understand is, when asked what the ETA on our food was, she readily had an answer for why it was taking so long. So when it actually happened, why did she not come by our table and communicate to us what the delay was? That way we could have decided whether or not to go through with the order. We are very disappointed not only because it was a birthday dinner, we made our appointment to do couples painting with a twist late, and also hungry. There was no offering to take care of the soups or appetizer, or any kind of retribution at all. The view of the ocean was nice, but TERRIBLE SERVICE

My boyfriend and I went here one day bored wanting try a new restaurant in town... Based on the reviews we thought it would be good but upon arriving the ENTIRE parking lot was empty for lunch (we almost thought it was closed)... Went in and service was great but as we were standing up to leave I noticed something coming out of the last piece of my boyfriends burger... Literally ended up pulling a 6 inch hair out of the burger itself (at first I was hoping maybe one of my hairs got on his plate) but no this hair was cooked into the burger and we were absolutely disgusted and left... Like I said service was great but definitely not sanitary. We definitely won't be back.

Umm I'm not sure why people think this place is amazing. It's crazy over priced and the food is disgusting. For a place that calls itself greek cuisine should be ashamed of the food they serve. The drinks are under poured, inconsistent and wayyy too expensive. $6.50 for an oz of captain and a glass full of coke? Not to mention the waitress was VERY rude. Not worth it. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Dimitri's has excellent Greek food. I love their gyros, south of the border chicken sandwich and greek salad. Oh...you can't not order saganaki. The views of the ocean from the upper deck are spectacular.

I'm came to Daytona on business and happen to drive by and decided to stop in. Great food, friendly service and I ate there 3 nights in a row. Have a Mythos beer!

Loved it!The Shrimp Aphrodite and Scallops were awesome, lemon potatoes to die for. My hubby had the Lamb Shank and it was falling off the bone YUMMY, Appetz were great had the Saganaki n Tzatziki and the baklava cheesecake was the best dessert I've ever had at a Greek restaurant. Yumny !!

  • Billy B.

I'll have to guess by the low rating that east coast folks don't like flavor in their food. This is easily the best Greek food I've had. Well-priced, huge portions, fugeddaboutit.

  • erin k.

You just can't beat the view. And being up on the roof top deck lends itself to a nice ocean breeze as well. The food is just ok. It's not bad, but it's nothing to write home about either. My husband and I had different kinds of gyros, and they were huge. Lot's of food. I thought the food was sort of expensive for what it was. Especially, the greek fries, which were an up-charge of $4. Geez. The service was just ok, as well. Almost too laid back. I'd go back because the actual roof top deck is nice.

My husband and I ate there twice while visiting Daytona Beach recently. The first time we ate on the ground floor inside and had a very nice waiter who also happened to be the manager. I am forgetting his name, but he is top notch. He let us know definitively that he really wanted us to have a good experience. Based on that experience I would have given them 4 stars. Based on our good initial experience we returned a week later, this time to eat on their rooftop deck. I would have given only 1 star from that experience. The waiter seemed not much interested in serving us. When I asked for hot water he said, it would be a big deal to get it brought up from downstairs. Then he did get it, but I was put off by his grumbling about having to get me something from downstairs. Generally his service was bad. We asked for a side plate to split something and it took him forever and he brought a plate so small it was ridiculous. This time the lamb was tough and grizzly for something like $22 and nothing like the lamb we had the first time, although it was the exact same dish. THEN, my husband had some symptoms of a health condition he has which was our cue to get right out of there for his well being. When I told the waiter we needed "to go" bags and the check quickly due to a "medical situation" he continued shooting the breeze with some other customers, initially ignoring our request. That was so far over the line I was shocked. I will never return. That is inexcusable. I suppose if you want to get just drinks and watch the sunset on a nice informal rooftop deck you would enjoy it there. You can see the ocean from the roof which is a big plus. Additional food commentary: I didnt like the hummus because it is made with red pepper which is all you taste. The traditional soup with lemon was very bad both times. Still I returned because the first time the lamb was so good. The lamb and the manager are both 4 star worthy. Hmmmm I just re-looked at their Yelp reviews and was surprised to see that there are several 1 star reviews that have been placed in a semi "hidden" place by Yelp. Too bad I didn't see those reviews initially.

When it comes to enjoying Greek food in the New Smyrna Beach area ones choices are rather limited. So to discover a great place in Ormond Beach which is open 7 days a week, near the beach no less, I felt compelled to write a review. The first thing that strikes you when you call up for directions is the warm and enthusiastic greeting from Sarah. So it was no surprise that upon entering the restaurant Sarah greeted us with a big smile and a hug, it's that kind of place! (Hugging optional) Then Chase comes over to take our order. Excellent service is something that Dimitri's does well, and having Sarah OR Chase take your order you just know you are in great hands. We started with an order of dolmades, followed by some delicious chicken and rice with lemon soup. (the Greek word for this soup escapes me at the moment, but it's a classic done to perfection) we then enjoyed a fresh Greek salad. For our main course, grilled lamb kabobs served with grilled pita bread and zucchini (cooked just so, not overcooked as many places tend to do) but the real stand out for us were the sliced potatoes cooked in olive oil and lemon. You could search the world over and never find a tastier dish! Note to Dimitri: please add pure white rice pudding with chopped pistachio nuts to the menu and you will have reached the pinnacle of perfection. As it is so hard to find great rice pudding, I just know Dimitri would do justice to this dessert. I think it is important to single out Chase as one of the nicest servers I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It's the small touches that make a dining experience worthwhile and when we got our bill, $68.00 for 3 people, I felt I needed to reward Chase with an 80% tip. This is certainly not the norm, as I am a 20% tipper, but his personality made the meal memorable for us. A shout out to Sarah for her pomegranate ice tea. Simply delicious!

We are very happy with the 2 entrees that we got tonight. The traditional gyro was great, cut purple onions, tomatoes, enormous chunks of lamb, tasty freshly baked pita, and a tzatziki sauce that is second to NONE, platter featured the avolemono soup and sautéed vegetables . Grilled chicken platter dish with sautéed vegetables and dinner potatoes was great also. Chocolate cheesecake with Baklava layers was fantastic. Angie was very attentive, she was beyond great customer service.

  • Lee B.

Great service, fantastic souvlaki, lamb/beef gyro was juicy and delicious, large portions (taking this back to the hotel for dinner later). The hostess/server was very personable, checked on us a few times without being annoying.

  • Beachy K.

The food was pretty decent. We got a creamy chicken soup with lemon that was delish!!! I ordered a steak and it was sort of fatty, but the meaty parts were really good. I have a feeling they marinated it in something that has MSG though because I got a headache. My son got the shrimp but wouldn't eat it because it was wet. They placed it over wet lettuce and so the shrimp was soggy and not crunchy. Otherwise it would have been good. I was disappointed that they didn't have mashed or baked potatoes though! All they had was a sliced potato that was really bland. Blah.

  • Megan S.

A solid go-to for us natives. The view from the roof is spectacular. Service is usually pretty good and friendly. We prefer their more traditional Greek dishes, and were disappointed when the got rid of so many. But, we always enjoy the gyros and the view!

Must go to the deck! Great view of the Atlantic, heard they are putting in several TVs , they put a lot into this deck will be a great place for awhile. Great food

I work in a restaurant and I therefore I know it is not JUST the food that makes a place. It's the service and environment too. Dimitri's excels in all of those aspects. I ordered the shrimp and scallop aphrodite and was amazed at how delicious it was. The veggies side were perfectly tender-crisp and the greek potatoes were SO savory and delicious. (Neither I or my grilfriend got rice so I can't account for that but I assume it's also delicious.) The inside of the restaurant is cute, greek decorations that are themed but not campy. They have a nice bar with plenty of beers on tap and even had hard cider on tap which is difficult to find. Our server, Sarah, was friendly, upbeat and very knowledgeable. She even suggested some places around town for us to visit and also directed us on the best way to get to the boardwalk. (Walking on the beach is actually quickest, if you were wondering!) We will be coming back here next year and I would strongly suggest this place to anyone visiting the Daytona or Ormond Beach area. They also have a really vast menu so it would be good for families with kids who may be not so into greek food.

  • Greg B.

The gyros are great and view from the covered roof top seating provides an excellent view of the ocean, little on the pricy side for what your getting, the service these past couple of times has been casual and unattentive. Too bad the owner doesn't get that part right. This place could really do well if it did.

  • T V.

Let me just make this quick. Don't bother. There were so many lame excuses about why it took over an hour for appetizers. One was it was "packed" downstairs - interesting because I was downstairs and saw a few tables. Blatant lying and excuses. We were excited about the deck and view - Olive Garden would have done just fine. Keep driving people and save that money.

Note: This review is for four and a half stars. Very pleasant surprise dining at Dimitris tonight, definitely the ONLY dining out we enjoyed on this trip to Daytona. Cavernous yet warm atmosphere, we chose to eat inside due to possible storm, but the outside dining looked like it offered a terrific view. We split a side Greek salad, plenty for two, fresh, perfect amount of dressing, red ripe tomatoes, tasty, but a little warm. I had the chicken gyro, which was absolutely delicious, with thin, shaved pieces of meat (!!! Usually made with big, unwieldy chunks of chicken but this approach was delightful) wonderfully seasoned, accompanied with a simple pasta salad not shy with the feta. Boyfriend had a chicken & steak soulvaki combo with Greek potatoes; divine, crisp and flavorful squash & zucchini accompanied this dish. Prices were fair, service was good, drink specials good, huge portions. All this for around $35....we are thrilled to have found it! Clean bathrooms with smokin' hot water. Great place, don't pass it up.

Great view on the upper deck. Go for lunch or early dinner to enjoy the view and a great gyro and feta or plain fries. I would stick to that , haven't had anything else here.

Went there for my birthday. Nice staff and food was good too. I had the Greek salad. The roof deck is a nice place to eat. Fun atmosphere looking out at the ocean and new park.

We had a party of 10 and went on a Saturday night during race weekend . Every other restaurant was packed except for this one. Now we know why. While the upstairs deck looked fun, it was way too cold and they had no way to block the wind or any warmers to keep you comfortable. They had no Bicardi and no Jack Daniels. Most of us ordered gyros we waited way too long and when we got them one of ours was cold and was sent back. The gyros tasted like they had been sitting around off the spit for a while and very salty. Never. Going. Back.

Our hotel recommended this for lunch. It was too cold for the patio so we ate inside. Husband had the gyro, I had the chicken gyro. Both were delicious. Service was good. Would definitely go back.

Ok, so I've been here more than a dozen times and I'm ashamed it has taken me this long to write a review. Sometimes you find such an unexpected incredible meal and you think "Could I have just gotten lucky with that meal? I mean, is this place always gonna be this awesome?" Maybe it was the sunset view, the warm ocean breeze, or the giant servings of food and wine that kept me coming back for more, but I can honestly say, this is the best greek food I have had in Florida. When I asked for a gluten free desert for my mothers birthday meal, the waiter did not know what gluten free meant. After looking at the dessert menu, we didn't find anything suitable, he returned with a complimentary second glass of wine for my mother (thanks to the generous pour, she had a very good birthday indeed). I have had the lamb, mixed grill, chicken, gyros and been impressed with them all. Go for lunch, EAT OUTSIDE IN THE SHADE! Go for dinner, EAT OUTSIDE IN TWILIGHT! Go for drinks anytime - just eat outside on the deck and you'll be at ease in minutes. You can watch the ocean from the picnic tables, or just enjoy fresh air. I don't think they allow smoking on the top deck either (THANK YOU!!!) Smokers would ultimately kill the entire ambiance of the place.

    (5)
  • L.Marie D.

The tzatziki is VERY good. It has a little bit of a kick to it compared to the tzatziki I'm used to at my other Greek restaurants, but it's delicious. Their pita bread is also fantastic. We sat outside on the patio. You can see the ocean from the patio, so that was nice, too. We both had gyros with their greek potato salad. The potato salad was amazing. The gyros were as well. We will definitely be going back!

Favorite place when we are at the beach. The deck can't be beat. Tonight the moon is full over the ocean and we are enjoying drinks and appetizers on the deck. Great drink pours and food!

Simply a great place. Have only been there for lunch a few times and have always left satisfied and happy. The food is prepared from scratch. It's very obvious. I love the Gyro (traditional). Filled with fresh vegetables, enormous chunks of lamb, tasty freshly baked pita, and a tzatziki sauce that is heavenly. You cannot fail with this dish. Their soups have been very flavorful, esp. their lentil one. The greek potato salad, topped with feta crumbles is a feast for your senses. The later two accompany most of the main dishes. I have tried their Chicken Feta sandwich as well, and have been just as impressed. I bring my nephew and niece there all the time and they love their freshly grilled chicken nuggets and their pita burger. The staff is always very friendly, quick and efficient with their service. The only complaint I have is that the management there needs to keep their internal meetings, etc. a bit more private not on the main floor. In one instance the argument between a manager and a server was more or less for everyone's ears and it was distracting. Very unprofessional. Other than that, the food alone is worth it.

Tried it for lunch after hearing good things. I had the spanikopita and greek salad. It was a huge portion of spinach and feta deliciousness. It was mostly spinach and not a lot of filo. The greek salad was well dressed, and had more of a peasant Greek salad. My husband had the cheeseburger, which was in no way Greek. It is well worth checking out. Easy to get in and out during lunch. Looks like they are doing a big expansion for rooftop dining.

We went in for lunch. Service was friendly but not to quick. Food came in a timely manor. We both got Gyros. Gyros were not traditional. the meat was nowhere near as good as the usual gyro. It did look right but did not taste like it. It had strong garlic in the gyros too. STRONG! I love garlic where it belongs. not here. Bean soup was pretty good. the other soup (can't remember the name) was not so great. Probably wont go back. We both needed more tzatiki sauce, so i asked for a little more. no problem the waitress brought some right out. a 2 tbs cup which appeared on the bill for $1.50

The gyro was very good and packed with a lot of meat and the greek potatoe sald was good first time I ever had greek potatoe salad. I stoped by a couple of weeks later to pick up one of their sandwitches was in the mood for chicken with avacodo. It was tasty, but not that much meat. I still haven't been by to try their souvlaki.
